Especially for photographing in the portrait format a secure grip of the camera is a deciding factor aside from the ease of use. For this reason the gripping surfaces are shaped ergonomically and equipped with a slip-proof rubber lining. Additionally, the grip also provides a secure mounting possibility for supporting loops. The battery compartment cover of the camera can be stored in the battery grip and is therefore securely protected from tearing off. The tripod thread is repeated on the bottom.
