All important components such as the tripod shoulders and fasteners are very solid and made of a high-strength and lightweight aluminum alloy. The comfortable quick-release levers ensure very easy handling and reliable support of this photo tripod. The hinged center column and the reverse function make the tripod very versatile and for example also good for macro photography.

No-frills, intuitive operation
The classic construction of the Fortis 171T Pro Carbon III ensures that handling this tripod is very simple and intuitive. The Flip-Lock levers offer a comfortable handling and ensure that the tripod legs are always securely locked. The advantage of these classic lever fasteners lies in the very reliable and simple locking. The tripod legs are locked securely with little effort and within a very short time. The design of the locking system allows fine adjustment with the supplied hexagon socket wrenches. This guarantees the optimal functionality of the Fortis 171T Carbon even after years of use.

Working height from 34 to 171 cm (without tripod head)
The Mantona Basic Fortis 171T carbon camera tripod has a maximum working height of 171 cm with the centre column fully extended. Including an additional ball head or a tilt arm, which offer an additional working height of approx. 10 cm, this results in a very comfortable overall height. Even when the central column is fully extended, the tripod is still extremely stable.
With the centre column retracted, it still offers a large working height of 149 cm without a tripod head. You are free to choose the tripod head you want: You can mount both a ball head as well as a video head on the tripod.

Fast assembly and safe stand
The 4 tripod leg segments ensure a compact packing size with high torsion rigidity and a very fast assembly of the tripod. Due to the very generous dimensions of the tripod tubes with diameters of professional 32, 28, 24 and 20 mm, the Fortis 171T Pro Carbon III also carries heavy equipment up to 15 kg very safely and shake-free. After opening the quick-release fasteners, the tripod tubes extend automatically and allow the tripod to be assembled in seconds. The locking clamps of the tripod leg lock are made of solid aluminium and ensure a secure support. For an optimal adjustment of the fasteners to your preferences (rather tight or a little more play) the fasteners can be fine-adjusted at any time with the supplied hexagon socket wrench. This ensures perfect functionality and pleasant handling even after years of intensive use. The very large footprint of a maximum of 128 cm in diameter ensures a very secure stand.

Light and stable thanks to Carbon
When designing the Fortis 171T Carbon, special emphasis was placed on high stability in addition to timeless ease of operation. The use of carbon for the tripod legs as well as high-strength, but lightweight aluminium alloys for the other components ensures a good balance between weight and stability, despite the use of very solid components. With a weight of 1.98 kg, the Fortis 171T Carbon for this tripod class and working height is quite light, but still very stable.

Variable thanks to macro and reverse function
The Fortis 171T Pro Carbon III features a convertible carbon center column with reverse function. Within seconds, the center column is retrofitted and you can mount the camera in the popular reverse position and use it for ground level macro shooting. Due to the tripod legs, which can be spread far apart, you can reduce the working height of the tripod to a pleasant 34 cm even without conversion. The user-friendly twist fastener of the central column locking system ensures simple and intuitive handling of the tripod.

Spirit level and compass in the stand shoulder
The Fortis 171T Pro Carbon III is extremely easy to set up and align with a spirit level and a compass in the tripod shoulder. The load hook on the underside of the center column allows you to additionally stabilize the tripod.

Free choice of tripod head
All commercially available tripod heads can be attached to the centre column (1/4 inch connection as standard, 3/8 connection via matching threaded adapter). With a tripod head you get a maximum working height of approx. 181 cm or more (e.g. with video heads). A tripod head can be fastened very stable and torsion-proof by the 3 grub screws in the mounting plate.

Large bag included
A very generously dimensioned, padded transport bag is already included in the scope of delivery. This bag is 20 cm longer than the tripod and therefore offers you the possibility to leave more voluminous tripod heads or panheads mounted on the tripod during transport.
