The Mantona Basic Fortis 137S camera tripod is the right tripod for photographers looking for a very stable and extremely robust photo tripod with many practical features. During the construction of the tripod, special emphasis was placed on stability and durability combined with a low weight. All important components such as the tripod shoulders, latches and tripod legs are generously dimensioned and made of a lightweight aluminium alloy. This gives the Mantona Basic Fortis 137S its special stability, without burdening you with too much weight.

Maximum working height 137 cm without tripod head
The height of the Mantona Fortis 137S is continuously adjustable from 42 to 137 cm. With an additionally mounted tripod head (approx. 10 cm height) you usually get a height of 147 cm. The center column can be extended very comfortably and exactly to the desired height by crank. The 1/4 inch thread of the center column can be easily and quickly attached to all common ball heads or panheads. If required, tripod heads with a 3/8 inch connection can of course also be attached by 1/4 to 3/8 inch thread adapters. Here you have the free choice and can mount a ball head, video head or gimbal completely according to your wishes.

High load capacity and extreme durability
The 3 aluminium tripod legs with robust 26, 22 and 18 mm diameter legs ensure high stability. This allows the tripod to achieve a maximum payload of 8 kg. The built-in middle spreader provides additional stability. The height of the 3 tripod legs can be adjusted safely and in a flash with twist-lock quick-release fasteners made of aluminium. Thanks to their special design, these locks can be adjusted very precisely and locked securely with just a quarter turn of the levers. The locking clamps of the tripod legs can be adjusted and readjusted at any time using the enclosed hexagon socket wrench. This allows you to adjust the Fortis 137S according to your individual requirements and ensures excellent functionality even after years of use.

Low weight and only 52 cm packing size
Despite the very solid construction of the Fortis 137S, the tripod weighs only 1760 grams. It collapses to a compact 52 cm and is then easily and quickly stowed in the included tripod bag.

Bag included
A transport and storage bag already included as standard completes the equipment and facilitates transport of the Fortis 137S.
