All important components such as the tripod shoulder, locks and tripod legs are therefore very generously dimensioned and made of a high-strength aluminium alloy. This gives the Mantona Basic Fortis 156S tripod its special stability. Many helpful equipment details such as spikes and a reversible centre column also make the tripod very versatile.

Working height from 37 to 156 cm (without tripod head)
The Mantona Basic Fortis 156S camera tripod has a maximum working height of 156 cm with the centre column fully extended. Including an additional ball head or a tilter, which result in an additional working height of approx. 10 cm, this results in a very comfortable tripod height. Even with the centre column fully extended, the Fortis 156S is still extremely stable and with the centre column retracted, it still offers a working height of 129 cm without a tripod head. You have a free choice of tripod head and can mount both a ball head and a video head on the tripod.

Very high load capacity and extreme durability
The entire construction of the Fortis 156S is designed for very high stability, longevity, solidity and durability. Voluminous and thick-walled tripod legs with diameters of 30, 26 and 22 mm as well as metal clamp fixings ensure very good vibration behaviour and a bomb-proof stand. The tripod shoulder is also solid and ensures a firm fit for your equipment even with the centre column extended to the maximum.

Fast set-up and secure stand
The 3 tripod leg segments ensure particularly high torsional rigidity and very fast set-up. After opening the quick-release fasteners, the tripod tubes extend automatically and ensure that the tripod can be set up in seconds. The extremely solid aluminium clamp locks ensure a secure hold and can be fine-tuned for optimal function at any time with the supplied Allen key. This ensures perfect functionality and pleasant handling even after years of intensive use.

Variable use thanks to macro and reverse function
The Fortis 156S has a reversible centre column (reverse function). The reversible centre column is equipped with a 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch threaded connection at each end, so that cameras can be attached directly or via ball head or tilt head. As a pleasant side effect, it is possible to use the corresponding free thread for attaching useful accessories such as an extension arm or a microphone holder.

Bag included
A transportation and storage bag, already included as standard, completes the equipment and facilitates the transport of the Fortis 137S.
