walimex pro LED Square 170 Bi Color - Floodlight with energy-saving diodes for use in photography and videography. Thanks to a high level of illumination, a flexible intensity range and a robust housing, the LED Square 170 B by walimex pro is perfect for on-location and studio work, whether it be for photography or video shoots.
170 High-performance LEDs
The floodlight has over 170 high-performance LEDs that produce 5,600 Kelvin for a realistic daylight colour temperature. Consequently, a very high level of illumination of approx. 1,200 lux can extent to a distance of one meter. The broad angle of radiation of 60 degrees produces balanced, homogeneous lighting. All LEDs are carefully tested and selected to ensure the correct colour balance is produced by each light. The high CRI of 90 reproduces the colours with precision.
Continuously adjustable light output from 10 to 100%
Using a dimmer on the rear of the LED square, the light output can be adjusted continuously from 10 to 100%. Regardless of the output or colour temperature, the light remains flicker-free - this is very important for video shoots.
Adjustable colour temperature range
The colour temperature can be set almost continuously at between approx. 3200 and 5600 Kelvin. The light characteristics can be adjusted further and changed using diffusion discs and filters.
Slide-on filter and barn doors
The video and photo floodlight comes with a transparent diffusion filter that can be mounted on the floodlight as a diffusing disc. This evens out the light of the individual LEDs, producing a balanced and soft lighting effect. To control the colour temperature, a warm tone filter is supplied in the set. The removable barn doors are sturdy and the best tool for effectively controlling the light emission properties. The barn doors also provide protection from knocks and damage.
Assembly on the pod and camera
The LED floodlight has a ¼ inch thread and can be attached to a ball head so that the inclination angle can be adjusted with great flexibility. The ball head also has a ¼ inch thread and an additional hot shoe attachment so that the light can be placed on the camera, at the front.
Power supply
The power comes from the mains or an NP- F 550 battery. The output is displayed on an LCD panel on the rear of the video and photograph light.
