The all-rounder
The walimex pro Ontario M video tripod enables you to enter the videography profession. Since the tripod is suitable for systems up to 8 kg, camcorders or DSLR cameras can be mounted easily, even those with heavy lenses.
Sturdy and stable
Since the camera is rotated and tilted during recording, video tripod should not be too light. Weighing 5.2 kg, the walimex pro Ontario M stands firmly and securely. A mid-spreader provides additional stability. The rubber-footed tripod legs have spikes which ensure they are secure and won't slip on all normal surfaces.
Comfortable working height
The working height of the tripod, without the camera, comes to between 80 cm and 164 cm. This means that recording from eye-level and above is comfortable. Thanks to the small packing dimensions of 86 cm, the tripod remains compact and is easy to transport.
Adjustable fluid dampening
Fluid dampening is vital for swivel heads when recording videos. This technology entails pressing a slow-moving fluid between several metal chambers to dampen movement. This is the only way to achieve clean, professional camera movements.
The fluid dampener can be connected for both a 360 degree panoramic rotation as well as for a +90 degree to a +45 degree vertical tilt. The vertical tilt is also equipped with a 3-level counter-weight system of up to 8 kg.
Ball cup including level
Thanks to a 75 mm ball cup and the attached level, it is possible to easily and quickly tare the device, even on uneven surfaces.
Safety lock quick-release plate
the safety lock quick-release plate prevents the camera from slipping. With a length of 120 mm and a width (flange film distance) of 42 mm, the rubber coated quick-release plate is equipped for optimum use with a camcorder. Thanks to the ¼ inch and 3/8 inch threaded screws, all kinds of cameras and camcorder can be attached.
