The 35 mm focal length has always been the all-rounder among lenses with a fixed focal length, because - especially when converted to the APS-C format - it almost resembles the angle of view of the human eye and thus makes it possible to take pictures "directly from the action". The angle of view of 63° is particularly interesting in street photography - and even with an APS-C sensor, the angle of view comes to just under 42°, the focal length to approx. 52 mm, just one of the most popular focal lengths of all. The AF 35 mm F2.8 from SAMYANG is also the ideal companion for landscape and architectural photography. Portrait photographers will also be pleased, because the autofocus lens gives a particularly beautiful bokeh at open aperture.

High-quality workmanship of optics and mechanics The multi-coated lenses (Ultra Multi Coating) are the absolute highlight of the autofocus lens. They ensure a high-contrast reproduction of the image motif without reflections, minimise chromatic aberrations and enable a high resolution. The lens consists of a total of seven glass elements, which are divided into six groups. Among them are two aspherical lenses and a highly reflective lens that optimises the flow of light to give you a clear and vivid image. The closest focusing distance is just 35 cm. With an open aperture, you get an even image all the way to the corners of the frame, even under heavy lighting conditions.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor
Save time in post-processing. A lot of lens aberrations like distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a lens calculated for full format on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This way you get the maximum quality. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not necessary.
