Permanent light as an advantage in practical use
Continuous light sources are equally suitable for photographers and videographers because they allow a direct assessment of the light projection and light intensity. Constant light can also be easily integrated into other light colours or artificial or natural light sources, as the photographer or videographer is able to flexibly adjust the ratio to ambient light.
Continuous light is very well suited for beginners in photography, as it is easier to assess the effect of continuous light. Here, the artist is able to work dynamically and playfully and to concentrate fully on setting the light. Photographs with wide open aperture such as portraits, atmospheric still lifes and dynamic video sequences can easily be realized with continuous light.
Color accuracy and light formers
Daylights generate a bright, white light, similar to daylight. With a CRI value of over 83 and a colour temperature of approx. 5,400 Kelvin, our daylights guarantee very good colour reproduction. In order to model the light according to the situation, there are a number of light shapers for our Daylights, which offer the desired effect depending on the situation. The fluorescent lamps cannot be regulated in their intensity, therefore we have developed a step-based solution for systems with several bulbs, with which individual bulbs can be switched on or off as required.
Lighting intensity
Fluorescent lamps are far more efficient than conventional incandescent lamps, the wattage says little about the actual luminous efficacy. Therefore, the performance of our daylights is given in lumens (lm) (luminous flux), lux (illuminance) and as a comparative value to conventional incandescent lamps.
E27 socket
The daylight spiral lamps of our daylights are designed in such a way that they can be screwed into any standard E27 base. Our special E27 lampholders also allow the construction to be mounted on a tripod and various light shapers to be attached.
