The Dolly Set Basic is the basic equipment for calm and fluent tracking shots with your camera or camcorder. Since the set not only contains the Dolly, but also a ball head, you are particularly flexible when filming and you are able to try out even more different camera positions. The ball head is simply mounted to the Dolly by using the 1/4 inch thread or one of the threaded adapters (1/4 to 3/8 inch) which are part of the scope of delivery.
Mini Dolly
With Walimex pro you can realize professional tracking shots with your DSLR, system camera or camcorder. Depending on your individual wishes you can perform both straight ahead as well as curve movements. With the telescopic arm, the Dolly can be easily pushed or pulled into the desired direction. The front axle is infinitely adjustable and supports simple steering via the arm.
The hard rubber skater rollers are light-moving and quiet. This enables calm and jitter-free shots, even on slightly uneven ground. With the 1/4 inch thread, which can be extended to 3/8 inch by adapter, you can also mount a ball head or a video pan head to the Dolly. This gives you additional flexibility in your work.
The Arm, which is fastened on the Dolly via a 1/4 inch thread, not only is a convenient solution for steering the Dolly, but can also be used as a hand tripod for the camera. It can be extended from approx. 22cm to 94cm. Its low weight makes the arm an ideal shooting companion.
Mantona Ball Head Scout
As connecting element between tripod and camera, the ball head has an important, essential function: It provides smooth movements, quick format changes and therewith the flexibility which you need in your daily work as photographer.
The Mantona ball head is especially recommended for using on the Mantona Scout Tripod. Thanks to the standardized camera plate, you can certainly use the head also on other tripods! The lightweight, but sturdy head can be switched from portrait to landscape format very quickly. The rubberized quick-release plate provides a sturdy and secure surface for your camera. The ball head has a maximum load capacity of approx. 5kg and is therefore ideally suitable for digital and SLR cameras.
