Neutral density filters can be used for many purpose and are valuable helpers in many situations. Depending on the factor they can make disturbing people disappear, make waterfalls flow or achieve uniform darkening of the image. This set includes a ND4, ND8 and ND1000 neutral density filter, so that you are prepared for any application. Depending on the neutral density filter used, the exposure time is extended by factor 2, 4 or 1000.
walimex pro neutral-density filter ND 4 and ND 8
The neutral-density filter from walimex pro extends the exposure time by 2 apertures (factor 4) resp. 3 apertures (factor 8) which enables you to achieve e.g. motion blurring and flow effects (e.g. on waterfalls). It is therefore mainly used in landscape photography. It also ensures uniform darkening of the image and reduces the light quantity, in order to achieve less focal depth with open aperture.
walimex pro neutral-density filter ND1000
The neutral-density filter from walimex pro enables extremely long bulb exposures. It extends the exposure time by factor 1000 and even makes people, who may accidently walk through the image, “disappear”. This makes the neutral-density filter ND1000 excellently suitable for architectural photography. The neutral-density filter has excellent optical properties. The high-quality filter, which is made of multi-coated glass, is mounted in a metal socket and can be precisely adjusted. It is transported in a protective covering, which protects the filter against harmful UV-radiation and thus considerably extents its service life.
