The Friction Follow Focus gives you the opportunity of focussing on all lenses. The Rod Module together with the base plate, which comes as part of the set, is simply fastened to the camera. Quick and problem free changing between two lenses, without having to install an additional focus ring. The Friction Follow Focus is thereby pushed against the lens with light pressure. The rubber coating on the runner of the Follow Focus enables precise following of the focal plane. The disturbing "jumping" caused by the incorrect mounting of a rubber ring gear, which may occur from time to time, is avoided when using the Friction Follow Focus.
The Friction Follow Focus can be simply mounted and infinitely displaced on the 15mm Rod Module. The base plate, on which the camera is fastened, is also infinitely adjustable. This way addition accessories, like matte box, can be mounted on the Rod Module, if required.
