The 35 mm diameter ball head fitted with an additional U-recess means it's easy to switch to portrait mode. The adjusting distance to full locking offers the possibility of setting a pleasant level of resistance without an additional friction adjuster. The quick-release plate is fitted with drop protection. It also offers the possibility of placing the camera's centre of gravity more accurately into the slotted rail.
The tripod is fitted with a sturdy foam covering on the tube elements, and is therefore perfect for using in cold weather. Thanks to the quick release clamp, it can be set up and dismantled more quickly, making the tripod ideal for outdoor, sporting and animal photography. The stable tripod is compact, and the rubber feet ensure the it stands firmly on rough ground. The centre column can be changed around so that it can also be used for macro photography. The leg angle can be set to three different angles.
