Heavy and sturdy
The maximum load capacity of a video pan head has a direct effect on the stability under load and the weight of the tripod. The heavier the camera system you are filming with, the heaver the tripod needs to be to create a counter-weight. With a net weight of 8.4 kg, the system is perfectly set for the panhead and will, therefore, stand firmly and securely in any position thanks to the adjustable level spreader.
Working height to be respected
When using the level spreader, a working height of at least 56 cm and no more than 170 cm can be attained with ease. If the level spreader is removed, and you work with spikes, a minimum height of 26 cm can even be reached.
Fluid dampening with a counter-weight system
Fluid dampening is vital for swivel heads when recording videos. This technology entails pressing a slow-moving fluid between several metal chambers to dampen movement. This is the only way to achieve clean, professional camera movements.
The 360 degree swivel panorama head allows for a tilt of +90 degrees to +50 degree on the vertical axis. All movements are fluid dampened. The vertical tilt is also equipped with a 5-level counter-weight system of up to 12 kg.
Ball cup including level
Thanks to a 100 mm ball cup and the attached level, it is possible to easily and quickly tare the device, even on uneven surfaces.
Safety lock quick-release plate
the safety lock quick-release plate prevents the camera from slipping. With a length of 165 mm and a width (flange film distance) of 50 mm, the rubber coated quick-release plate is equipped for optimum use with a camcorder and digital cine cameras. Thanks to the ¼ inch and 3/8 inch threaded screws, all kinds of DSLR cameras, camcorders and digital cine cameras can be attached.
