Designed for videography and photography
With the Samyang 10/3.1 Video APS-C, you are optimally equipped for both videography and photography without having to make time-consuming changes to your camera. The aperture can be adjusted continuously, minimising transitions in exposure. The aperture ring and focus ring are equipped with a toothed ring and are thus optimised for use with focus pullers (follow focus systems).
Ideal for landscape, architecture, art and nude photography
The Samyang 10/3.1 Video APS-C with a focal length of 10 mm and a lens speed of 1:3.1 is ideal for fast landscape and panorama shots thanks to its wide angle of view. This high-quality wide-angle lens is also ideal for architecture, art and nude photography. Focusing and aperture settings are manual. The closest focusing distance is 24 cm. Lens for APS-C sensors!
Excellent image quality thanks to multi-coated lens surfaces and Nano Coating
For excellent imaging performance, great importance was attached to an optimal lens construction. All 14 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections and thus makes more light available to the image. In addition, the coating achieves better contrast and more brilliant colour rendition. The reduction of reflections is additionally supported by a nano coating. Two of the 14 lenses are aspherical and thus ensure optimal correction of spherical image errors. In addition, one lens is made of ED glass (extra low dispersion), which optimally corrects chromatic aberrations.
High-quality workmanship
The metal housing is very robust and impresses with its noble appearance. In addition to the high-quality optics, the removable lens hood, which prevents stray light and lens reflections from the sides, ensures optimal image results and further design options.
Using an APS-C lens on a camera with a full-frame sensor
Lenses designed for cameras with an APS-C sensor can sometimes be used (mainly by using an adapter) on cameras with a full-frame sensor. However, due to the much smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges will be black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full-frame camera therefore corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be cropped in post-processing. Using APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is therefore possible, but not recommended.
