Whether in panorama or landscape photography, architecture or even in the interior: with the Samyang Fisheye lens you can take brilliant pictures. Due to the extremely large depth of field and the gigantic possibilities of perspective, all opportunities are open to the experimental photographer.

Optimized lens construction
With this new edition of the lens, the lens design was completely revised. All 11 glass lenses of the lens are multi-coated and provide an excellent contrast and sharpness reproduction as well as a balanced color balance. Thanks to the use of three ED (extra low dispersion) and two aspherical lenses (ASP), image errors are corrected almost perfectly. These especially high-quality optics of the lens ensure optimal image results. The very high speed of f/2.8 enables excellent images even in less favourable lighting conditions. The lens hood is fixed and prevents incident stray light and lens reflections.

Using an APS-C lens on a camera with full-frame sensor
Lenses developed for cameras with APS-C sensor can be used partially (mainly by using an adapter) on cameras with full format sensor. Due to the significantly smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges are imaged in black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full format camera thus corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. Thus, the images have to be trimmed during the post-processing. Thus, the use of APS-C lenses on full format cameras is possible, but not recommended.
