The Mantona Kodiak L 284 F10 tripod is the optimal choice for ambitious travel, outdoor and nature photographers with special demands. The Kodiak series offers comfort and precision on all 3 levels of movement thanks to a swivelling and rotatable centre column. The height-adjustable, 210° tiltable and 360° rotatable centre column gives you unlimited freedom for the placement of your equipment during your shoots. The included ball head has a high load capacity of 10 kg and pleases with its first-class workmanship and full-featured equipment including friction control.

Highest variability for your shots
The Kodiak proves to be a real all-rounder with its extremely variable working heights. With the centre column fully extended, the Kodiak offers a working height of 176 cm. Even with the centre column pushed in for maximum stability, the maximum height is a comfortable 144 cm.
The Kodiak's strengths come into their own with macro photography. With its foldable centre column construction, your photo equipment can be brought into almost any desired position. In addition, the separate, short centre column allows you to reduce the working height to a minimalist 8 cm. Of course, the centre column can also be removed and mounted in the reverse position below the tripod shoulder. All this is torsion-proof and enormously stable thanks to the intelligent centre column and tripod shoulder construction.

First-class handling, clever details and elegant controls
The angle of the tripod legs can be adjusted in 3 steps by means of the ergonomically shaped locking clips. Voluminous tripod legs made of aluminium with diameters of 28, 25, 22 and 19 mm ensure a secure stand. Thanks to the integrated spikes and load hook, even on slippery terrain such as mud, snow and ice.
A bubble level in the tripod shoulder facilitates the alignment of the tripod and the intelligent design of the tripod shoulder allows cleanly damped panoramic pans even without a tripod head.
The three foam handles make for comfortable handling even in cold weather, and the included mini-LED lamp is a nice gadget for setting up and taking down in low light.

Exclusive ball head and bag included
The built-in Mantona Fortress 34 ball head convinces with highest quality and functionality as well as a particularly rich set of features. Arca-Swiss compatibility, noble workmanship with high-quality controls and maximum ease of use are combined with low weight and high load capacity. As a special feature, the ball head has a friction travel control screw. This allows the resistance to be adjusted and a short or long adjustment path to be selected for locking the ball head. Using your thumb or the included tool, the friction travel can be easily and effectively adjusted to the weight of your equipment or even your individual preferences. Thus, a long adjustment range ensures particularly sensitive operability. For heavy equipment or particularly fast handling, the friction travel can be reduced or almost completely blocked.
Also included is a high-quality, padded tripod bag with a length of 66 cm.

Ball head with Arca-Swiss quick release system
The quick release plate of the Fortress ball head is Arca-Swiss compatible and scales on the ball head base as well as the quick release plate guarantee the exact alignment of your equipment. The full-featured equipment is completed by two spirit levels and a bubble level. Clean damping and the precise panoramic scale ensure clean and controlled panoramic pans.
