The new era of cine lenses
The uniform positioning of the aperture/focus ring makes changing lenses quick and easy - the uniform weight distribution also means that gimbals do not need to be recalibrated and shooting can continue straight away. The compact size of 72 x 72 x 72 mm and the low weight of 280g make handling the lenses simple and easy. The smooth focus transmission is perfect for smooth transitions and the "manual" cine look. At the same time, the AF is quiet, precise and without "focus pumping". At 20 mm, the lens has an ideal focal length for street, reportage, and landscape filming and photography.

Integrated Tally Lamp
This lens is the world's first auto-focus lens with this feature: a small lamp on the front of the lens indicates whether it is currently shooting, ensuring uninterrupted video shooting. As soon as recording starts on the camera, the light automatically changes from green to red, signalling to everyone on set, both in front of and behind the camera, that recording is in progress. This makes the lens ideal for tight spaces and small setups. It is also perfect for YouTubers, professional filmmakers as well as people who record themselves. The focus ring is suitable for use with Follow Focus when focusing manually. It is the world's first lens to which an electronically controllable accessory can be connected. This capability will be included on all V-AF series products.

8K Support and Color Tone
Limitless image quality is assured with this lens, as the new V-AF series supports resolutions of up to 8K. This makes the lens suitable for both current and future generations of cameras - all in a small and lightweight format that is well suited for use with gimbals and drones, as well as for vlogging and shooting on the go. The lenses of all the lenses in the new V-AF series are colour-matched to avoid colour shifts when changing lenses, making post-processing much easier. In addition, the nine aperture blades ensure a natural bokeh. The V-AF series also offers a consistent form factor in terms of size and weight.

Custom Switch and Focus Hold Button
The V-AF lenses are equipped with Samyang's signature and extremely useful features, such as the Custom Switch and Focus Hold Button, which allow you to control the aperture on the lens. The Focus Hold button also provides focus lock and more individuality. The lens is designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras (full frame as well as APS-C) and cine cameras with E-mount mount.

Protection from dirt and dust
Prepared for all (cinematic) adventures: the lens is protected against the ingress of dust, dirt, or moisture at a total of six points, ensuring use on location.
