Thanks to the lens design with 17 elements in 14 groups as well as special lenses (2x ASP, 1x H-ASP, 3x HR and 3x ED) it delivers high-quality images with excellent detail across the entire focal length range. Of course, this lens can also be used on mirrorless Sony cameras with APS-C sensor.

The built-in linear STM (stepper motor) autofocus is fast, precise and quiet. It meets the highest demands for accuracy in both photo and video shooting.
With the Par-Focal function, the focus remains on the focused subject when zooming in and out. The focal length can be changed during video recording without having to refocus.
Cinematic Video AF controls the AF speed during filming, reducing fluctuations and ensuring a smooth and harmonious shot.
With linear MF Control, the torque of the focus ring mimics that of a manual video lens, providing the familiar handling of manual focusing when shooting video.

Cine Kit:
