Maximum light output in a handy housing
The Walimex Pro Light Shooter 360 TTL/N for Nikon offers up to 30% more flash performance with its guide number 80 (1m / ISO 100) than comparable products. It is therefore ideally suited for larger tasks, such as weddings and family celebrations.
Power Porta for long-lasting power supply plus many accessories
Thanks to the external battery unit "Power Porta", up to 450 flash releases can be achieved at full power. This means you no longer have to worry about your power supply. A comprehensive digital display shows you the battery status at any time if desired. The shoulder strap included in the set and the belt clip attached to the Power Porta provide secure fastening options.
Off-camera flashing with the Light Shooter
This is where the Light Shooter 360 TTL/N unfolds its full potential. Thanks to the different setting modes, you can use the Light Shooter either by a remote control or by an optical light signal (slave function) for off-camera flashes. Even the use of multiple flashes from different directions can be easily implemented. Due to its brightness and mobility, the Light Shooter is therefore a competitor to many studio flash lamps.
In contrast to its predecessor, the Walimex pro Light Shooter 360 TTL is equipped to measure the light automatically through the lens (TTL = trough the lens). Thus, the exact amount of light, which hits the sensor, is measured during the exposure. Variables such as the distance to the subject, measuring method (e.g. spot metering, multi-segment metering) or ambient light are taken into account and the subject is automatically optimally illuminated by the flash. Flash exposure correction is possible in TTL mode from +3 to -3 in 1/3 steps. With the FEB setting, a series of three images with different exposure (correct, overexposed and underexposed) can be shot, similar to exposure bracketing on the camera. The Light Shooter 360 TTL offers high speed sync (up to 1/8000 sec.) and "Second-Curtain Sync" to freeze movements at longer exposure times. With suitable flashes (e.g. Nikon Speedlight SB-900 or 910, Light Shooter 360 TTL/N) a setup with several flashes or groups of flashes is possible, whereby the exposure for the complete shot is fully automatic. The Walimex pro Light Shooter 360 TTL/C is compatible with the W1 TTL T-N wireless shutter release (21702). Herewith, TTL functions, flash output, focus assistant, acoustic signal and flash release can be controlled remotely up to a range of 100 m.
Additional functions of the Light Shooter
In manual mode the flash output can be set in 1/3 steps from full output 1/1 to 1/128. The Light Shooter can act as a slave, triggered by a flash pulse. In case a red-eye reduction pre-flash is to be ignored, a corresponding slave mode is also available. If a large number of flashes are to be fired in a short time, the stroboscopic function is used: flash output, number of flashes and speed of the flash sequence can be set individually, with a maximum of a certain number of flashes being possible depending on the flash output and frequency. You can place the Light Shooter on the camera, trigger it with sync cable (included) or trigger it wirelessly by optical signal or radio. Wireless control is only possible with the aid of suitable additional devices (e.g. other suitable flashes or remote controls with transmitter and receiver).
The Light Shooter 360 TTL/N is compatible with many Canon EOS cameras. The compatibility of the following models has been tested. If your model is not listed, a self-test is recommended. Tested models: D800, D700, D7100, D7000, D5200, D5100, D5000, D300, D300S, D3200, D3100, D3000, D200, D70S, D810, D610, D90.
