Use the monitor on different camera systems, such as a DSLR, CSC camera, or camcorder. The high-quality plastic housing, combined with the low weight of only 320g, makes it the ideal companion on all adventures.
Check the histogram with the 7" Camera Assist Monitor 4K IPS, use the peaking display, the exposure zebra function, the false color display or the audio level display to adjust your camera optimally:
Histogram display: This controls the correct and balanced exposure of your shot.
Peaking display: The most contrasty edges in the image are bordered in color or white, making them easier to recognize and facilitate manual focusing.
Exposure/Zebra function: It detects overexposures and displays this area with stripes - known as the "zebra pattern". This helps to avoid overexposed areas in the images.
False color display: The "False color display" is similar to the Zebra function. Here, however, colors are not displayed realistically, but instead the so-called false colors. Each color stands for a certain brightness range/level in the image signal. You can avoid overexposure by doing this, just like with the Zebra function.
Optimize your workflow
Whether you have your camera mounted on a tripod, video rig or gimbal, with the 7" Camera Assist Monitor 4K IPS you or your camera assistant always have all important recording parameters in view. The external monitor is much better suited for evaluating the image than the smaller camera monitor. Thanks to the supplied ball head, you can adapt the monitor to all imaginable needs. The sun hood, which is also included in the scope of delivery, makes it easier for you to work even in difficult lighting conditions.
IPS LCD with Full HD Resolution
IPS LCD displays are perfect for filming thanks to their high colour accuracy and powerful colour display. The HMDI connectors are compatible to the HDMI standard 1.4 with 4K signals up to 3840x2160 (UHD) at 25/30 Hz. 4K images are scaled to the Full HD Panel.
Simple Operation
The operating concept is simple and intuitive. The menu is called up via the side-mounted rotary knob. All parameters can be adjusted there. Press the Exit key to move back. The F1 and F2 keys are "quick function keys". They can be assigned individually and are therefore perfectly suited for frequently used functions.
